Who created Upload Junction?
It was created as a hobby project. I work for a small software development company, and as I was moving my photos to Zenfolio®, I realized that a service that helps migrating photos between online services can be useful for others.
How does it work?
Upload Junction logs into your accounts, then goes through your photo albums and copies them from the source to the destination service. You don’t need to download anything and your computer does not need to be on, it all happens between the services.
Will it delete anything on the Source service?
No. Upload Junction will not do anything with your photos and galleries on the Source service!
Is it secure?
Yes. All personal information, such as your email and password are sent over a secure connection. Your photos are not kept anywhere.
How long does it take to move all my photos?
It depends on the number of photos you have. In general, it can take from a few minutes to several hours. It is best to request an email to be sent to you at the end of the transfer so you know it is completed.
Can I select which albums to move?
In this version all of your albums are moved. It is possible future versions will add the ability to select specific albums.
Is the hierarchy of my folders preserved?
Yes, Upload Junction tries to preserve the arrangement of your albums.
How do I know when the transfer is completed?
You will have an option to be notified by email when the transfer is completed.
How much is this service?
Currently the service is free, but a donation button might be added in the future if the service becomes popular.
My service is not on the list, can I ask you to add support for it?
Yes, please send in your request and if there is enough demand there is a good chance I can add it.
